Jane's topic will be "The Fund to Benefit Children & Youth," an agency that began in 1991 to serve the basic needs of children who could not receive support from traditional government sources due to insufficient funding or were hampered by government guidelines. In the past seven years, "The Fund to Benefit Children & Youth" has helped 9,228 children throughout the Lehigh Valley. The Fund currently as a goal of "becoming better known." Past District Governor, Ron Smith along with his Uganda counterpart have been selected to present their global grant project, Reducing Maternal & Neonatal Mortality in Uganda, during the inaugural Rotary Day at the WHO in Geneva, Switzerland on February 27th. This VTT Grant and Humanitarian Global Grant project has been conducted over the past 8 years with a series of Global Grants totaling over $420,000.
